Buenos Aires, November 16. A 33-year-old thief who stole 12 mobile phones at an electronic party in Costanera Norte was detained by officers of the Buenos Aires Police Police sources informed the Argentine News Agency that the incident occurred last Saturday around 6:30, when a woman who was in the “Mandarine Park & Tent” complex felt a push and noticed that her fanny pack had been opened and her iPhone 16 Pro Max was missing. Immediately, she began tracking the device from an application, managing to locate it within the premises. With that information, she requested assistance from private security personnel, who identified a suspect and held him until the Police arrived. Upon searching him, officers found ten iPhone phones of different models and colors, a blue Motorola E13 and another pink Motorola, among which was the victim's phone. While the procedure was being carried out, another woman approached voluntarily and recognized one of the seized cell phones as her own. By order of the National Criminal and Correctional Court No. 55, in charge of Alejandra Alliaud, the detention of the accused was ordered, as well as the reading of rights and guarantees and the corresponding measures.
